Range road 2012: Btwin Cyclo Cross

This bike was designed for the practice of cyclo cross in training and in competition.

Primarily a cyclo cross bike robust, it becomes road bike drive by changing the tires, with its compact gear, it’s a pass.

Components:

Frame: 6061 T6 Aluminium / Fork: b’Twin carbon, aluminium steerer tube. Lightweight aluminium frame, good clearance for riding on muddy tracks. Aluminium fork and steerer tube, hardwearing carbon fork blades for dampening down vibration.

Handlebar: B’TWIN aluminium 4-point adjustment / Stem: B’TWIN aluminium. The strong, ergonomic handlebars can be fitted with a second pair of brake levers.

Headset: VP integrated.

Combined levers: Shimano 105 / Calipers: TekTro Oryx Cantilevers. Features cantilever brakes that are lightweight but powerful, even on muddy terrain.

Front / rear derailleurs: Shimano 105 / Shimano 105.

Chainset: Shimano 105 compact. The rigid chainrings are designed to resist mud and erosion.

Wheels: Decathlon Penta Racing – 28 spokes. Based on the Decathlon Allround 28 rim to keep the weight down. The crossed spokes increase strength and prevent deformation.

Tyres: Michelin Cyclo Cross Mud 2. Tyres designed for slippery surfaces. The composition of the rubber together with the higher pressure makes them equally efficient on dry terrain.

Saddle: Royal Viper / Seatpost: aluminium. : The comfortable saddle is easy to clean.

Pedals: Xpedo. Dual-sided pedals for engaging rapidly during a race. Adjustable tension mechanism.

10-speed 12/28 cassette : the gearing is specially designed for novice and experienced riders.
